Welcome
Hello, I'm Dr. Rachel Hasper
It’s a privilege to be in the business of helping people
I’m glad you’re here
My practice
I have nearly two decades of experience guiding others through life's most challenging times. I believe therapy is both a science and an art, and my personal style leans equally on academic theory and holistic traditions to offer clients a nuturting environment for their healing and growth. I prioritize individualized care by running a small-scale practice, which enables me to dedicate the necessary energy and focus to deeply understand and tailor treatment to each client.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Master's in Counseling and Human Development, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’m also a certified Life Coach, Hypnosis Practitioner, and Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher, reflecting my integrated approach to well-being. I know from experience that the element of personal connection is vital to good therapy, and I show up to sessions grounded, compassionate, and open. While my education and professional development largely inform my therapeutic style, nothing is more impotant to me than creating a relationship where each individual feels safe, understood, and valued.
The most important thing about finding the right therapist is our ability to cultivate a safe and trusting relationship.

My approach
My practice integrates specific evidence-based therapies while also taking a holistic approach to helping; lasting healing, growth, and change occur when we treat the whole self - mind, body, and spirit. I draw from diverse disciplines within the fields of psychology and mind-body medicine, as therapy and change-work is not a one-size-fits-all. And I’m committed to continuing education and my own personal growth work, as both deepen the ways in which I can facilitate healing and evolution for others (see my education and training here).
While some clients benefit from frequent sessions to address immediate or ongoing concerns, others prefer less frequent meetings that provide a dependable space for reflection and intentional living. Appointment frequency is flexible, ranging from twice-weekly sessions for intensive support to occasional check-ins to ensure your long-term health and wholeness.
A truth about the human condition is that we all experience suffering and adversity.
It can be confusing and scary to try and navigate our challenges, traumas, and transitions alone.
Do you ask yourself, “but do I really need therapy?”
I consider therapy to be a valuable resource for everyone. In today's fast-paced world, many of us have a never-ending list of responsibilites and prioritize the needs of others, often neglecting our own well-being. While therapy is often necessary for managing mental health conditions, therapy isn’t just for those with diagnosed conditions… it’s also a space to slow down, connect with yourself, gain coping skills to manage the stress life brings, improve relationships, and live with authenticity and self-worth.
